Could you please ttma bikes (kids' bikes)? Both my kids need to aize up but I am so not a bike person...
Dd isn't really a bike person either but maybe she would be with a good bike? Her 16" is pretty crappy. She still is using training wheels though theure doung bikes in PE at school so might try without them there in the last class or two she has left. She loves her scooter. We have a wide driveway with maybe 20 feet that's flat at the top where they ride but then it slopes down to the road; the road isn't one where it'll be good to work on learning to ride. Not the worst, but not good.
Ds will be 5 at the end of the summer. He lives his bike (12") and zips all around but it's really getting too small. He still has training wheels too.
Do any of you have a 20" bike that would fit in the back of a Rav4 without folding the seats down? I don't even know if that exists. I was looking at a Schwinn Astrid that Target has (bikes are 20% off thru tomorrow 5/29 and I have a couple other discount offers so it'd be a good time) but the frame is huge (long). And it's heavy. We'll probabky have to go somewhere for her to have a good space to learn to ride it, though, so I'll need to put it in the car or buy a rack. Ugh.
Are the regular movie character 16" bikes that target has decent (for ds)? Guessing some of you probably had or have those? I think they're huffy?
