I'm having the worst luck with our farm stand today. Someone took eggs without paying (not a big deal but I've got a waiting list for eggs so I definitely could have sold them), 3 jars were taken even though we have a "please leave jars" sign, and then a very kind man who bought some duck eggs ran over our mailbox. He was so embarrassed and insisted on paying us. It was one of those awkward moments where you really don't want to accept the cash but they are insisting. We're getting a new mailbox though, so not all bad I guess. Haha

I think it was the right thing for the man to pay you. He made a mistake and probably would have felt more uncomfortable about coming back to your stand if he wasn't able to make it right. The jars🤷♀️ that's just lame

scotty that sucks. Our farmstand has an honesty box or you can pay by bank transfer when you get home. We always do bank transfer as I never have cash and I have occasionally forgot to pay but do remember after a few days and pay straight away and apologise to the farmer!! Maybe the egg person forgot and might return to drop off the money...if not, what a dick.

So we went to church for the first time since lockdown.
It was so nice to be back - it’s the happiest I’ve felt in a long time!
But...such a weird experience too. It was so silent and strange without lots of people. No singing was sad and just not church if that makes sense.
Worst of all, you are given allocated seats...ours were on the very front row 😳. We are not front row people 😂😂. First my kids are a huge distraction and do not need to be up front and centre but also, at the front I have the fear that I’ll still be standing up by myself and everyone behind me will be sitting down. I was in high alert the entire time.
Although at the end, our priest did say it was so lovely to hear children in church again ha ha ha.
Off to book my tickets for next week (still weird needing tickets!)

Maybe we'll get a bit extra some other day. Nobody has stolen my hand sanitizer yet, so that's more shocking. With such short supply around here I thought that would be the first thing to walk off. 😆

I went to Walmart to a get a few things this morning, and they had Clorox wipes! I grabbed a container since I haven't been able to buy any since the beginning of march. I messaged a couple of friends and told them they were in stock.
Also, it was 2 years ago yesterday that we came to look at this house and put in our offer.

I’m no expert, but spending 24 hours straight “researching” on the internet sounds like a manic episode.

I’m no expert, but spending 24 hours straight “researching” on the internet sounds like a manic episode. Right? I looked her up and she runs a wellness center in Nicaragua. She claims to have healed her father of Alzheimer’s with plants, veganism and supplements. I think she also healed him of cancer as well.

I was laughing at the 24 hours of “research” so hard (well along with many of her other ridiculous statements).
She also liked the word “blatant” - blatantly, she sits at her computer for 24 hours with tinfoil wrapped around her head to protect her brain from infiltration by evil people, possibly robots and 100% not natural babies.
But I’m so very glad she did her “duty” and told us all 😳
WTF did I just read??

Things are looking up a bit around here hopefully. Two weeks ago I was able to finally see Matt as he drove up with his girlfriend and we met her. That was so nice as I hadn't seen him since Christmas.
The weather got better for my vacation and we were able to go to the beach and everyone was all distanced and wasn't crowded even. I also finally finished the 3rd coat of granite paint on my outside upper patio. The heat has been crazy this year and two of those days were nearly 100.
Finally, I was on Tinder looking and saw that new people liked me. I have a paid subscription so I can see anyone who likes me without having to swipe first. One of the guys looked nice and cute...and also familiar. I sat and thought before swiping as I couldn't remember and then it hit me that he was one of the guards at Chapman's to let you in the gates. He started a couple of months before I left. Before I could make my decision, my dad came to get Peyton and I put my phone down quickly. When I get on again, he is gone! I was so sad that I must have swiped left by mistake as I put my phone down.
So of course, I later text my friend from Chapman's and ask if she can find out if he has Facebook. He doesn't, so she said she will get his number. I felt dumb but what else can you do? Lol
Anyway, he was happy I asked and gave it to her and I texted him and then we chatted on the phone on Friday and he asked me out for Saturday. My parents were able to watch her and we went out for a hike yesterday and then dinner at a little cafe. We had fun and he is very nice and so we said we would go out again. Spent a good portion of the afternoon talking to him and he makes me smile so that's always a good thing 😊

Your tinder story was so cute 😊...that’s a “meant to be” for sure! Actually, it gets even better. Apparently he only joined Tinder that weekend and made a few swipes and then deleted his profile on Monday.....literally right after I saw his pic and was going to swipe! It wasn't my crazy finger swiping left after all haha. So I was a weird stalker getting his number, I also remember that he has come in for help with his tires back in the early Fall at my work and he looked at me and said hi as he recognized me. He told me yesterday that he has a rule not to go out with anyone he works with, and when I left and then he found out where I worked he wanted to come back the next day and ask me out but chickened out. Very cute.

People are truly losing their minds and the conspiracy theories are getting really nutty. I have to refrain from commenting on the human trafficking conspiracy theories because some people are in so deep, sharing completely made up stats and memes. Sharing false information does nothing to help a cause.

We listed some of the kids toys on fb marketplace and getting these things out of our house is so freeing. We sold a hot wheels table this morning and we have much more room now. I've got the urge to purge! Now I have to decide what to do with all of the baby gear.

Dd2 is super big she’s already in 6 month clothes are there specific brands that are taller also we need sleep sacks Bc she is almost grown out of the ones we used for a year with the other kids.
In comparison dd wore 6 month clothes when she was 12 months. Ds1 wears 3t around the waist and 5 length and the baby is more than half of ds2 length.

Both my kids have had long torsoes; think Carter's onesies are longer than a lot of the other brands. Longer than any of the other brands I've had except maybe hanna andersen but their size chart is different so hard to compare. I really wish they came in bigger than 18-24 months though! Ds has just about outgrown them and I'm not ready to give up having tbe diaper snapped in and hard for him to mess with! Though he might potty train kinda soon ... Maybe ... For $$$$ hanna Andersen stuff fits longer - at least some onesies have two snap panels about an inch apart and and they are pretty stretchy. the pants can start out with the cuff folded up then go to having it unfolded. Good for making baby stuff for for more than the typical maybe 3 months. I guess I should see what their biggest size of onesies is and maybe get a few for ds but I just hate spending that much! My kids only have any hanna andersen because my stepmother buys them things when we go outlet shopping but that's not happening any time soon! I've found old navy to be a bit smaller/shorter and Circo (is that even still around) and jumping beans way way shorter - at least the onesies.

My kids are both big and they were always in Carter’s baby clothes. They just wore one size up; so at 3months old they wore 6m, at 6months old, they were in 9m, etc. Halo makes cotton sleep sacks in sizes up to 4T.

Today was a bit of a rollercoaster. My coleader for DD1's Girl Scout troop dropped the bomb on me today that she and her daughter are quitting scouts (they're already registered fpr next year, so it was a bit of a surprise). It totally felt personal to me, though it probably isn't. She's a HCW and her husband is a cop, so they are in really stressful fields right now.
At least I got a little pick me up after that. The council called, and apparently someone nominated me for an award.

That sucks she is leaving (although I remember the relief when DD1 was too old for brownies and I didn’t have to be the leader anymore!) so it totally wont be personal. Will someone else volunteer and take her place or will you be left with it all? Yay for the nomination. That’s brilliant!
