Anyone have a guess about why my cat is eating dirt (licking sand/dirt up off the driveway) when he sneaks outside? (Other than that he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, which he definitely isn't) He's 13. He might have a vitamin/mineral deficiency. I'd call your vet. He may need a food change.

I was afraid someone would say that. It sounds likely but I want it to be a cheaper, simpler (no vet involved) answer! 😬😅 he already had to have ear surgery back in June; that was his lifetime vet budget right there. Except, of course, it doesn't work that way ... How are you feeling?

We have ash falling from the sky due to wild fires. My asthma is so bad. It’s supposed to be 90 here today with heavy smoke. Gross.

We have sold our house and have officially moved in full time to our tv on my grandma’s property. It’s been an adjustment and I still have things I need to unpack and find places for but, we are finally starting to feel settled. Our camper finally feels like home. The kids love it and spend a majority of their time outside. It was stressful but, we made the right decision. Now, with the money from the house, we should be able to pay most of our debt and get a fresh start financially which feels good.

We have several and run them year round. They’re helping but we can’t stay inside all the time. Masks help outside too. It’s just so yucky.

My parents put up plastic around 1 door they go in and out of. It seems to help keep pollen under better control. And strip the second they come in and shower.

I dont have either of the seats, but what's your question? I need a new harness booster for ds2 53 pounds 44 inches he’s a husky build with a booty I would recommend staying away from the Diono (limits are really inflated on their seats, they dont last nearly as long as people think they do, booster fit isn't great, they can be tricky to install because of the high narrow belt path, and not to mention you would be paying for a carseat that has a RF option that you wouldn't be using). The chic NextFit doesn't do Booster mode, so I'm thinking you might be talking about the MyFit. It only harnesses up to 54", and the seat pan itself is a bit on the narrow side, so it may not work well for a child with a booty. Have you looked into the RideSafer vest? Since the higher weight britax seats are no longer on the market, this is a great option for bigger kids. (and they are also great for 3 across scenarios since it's only as wide as the child). They currently have 4 different sizes that can harness up to 110lbs or 62in. The nice thing is also, They have a backless booster that can be used with or without the harness. ridesafer.net/ridesafer-gen-5/

Baby Savannah was born yesterday at 2:35pm and weighs 7 lb 12 oz. Labor and delivery went smoothly but she did aspirate meconium and spent a couple hours on oxygen to help her lungs out before we could hold her. Today she is doing perfectly and we should get to go home in a few hours. Thank you for the well wishes!

Awwwww! Squee!! Welcome to the world, Savannah! Congratulations, scotty! I'm sorry she had to be on oxygen/away from you for a couple hours- that must have been stressful - but so glad all is well now! Going home so soon- eeeks - but hoping you're really ready to and that your boys will be good helpers! Happy baby-snuggle time! ❤️❤️❤️

Dd2 won’t stop screaming. I have been driving her around in the car. Last night was horrifying. I took her to pedi her double ear infection is getting better. She is having an mri on wed to make sure she is not like ds1 and to check there is nothing pressing on her eyes. She is getting Tylenol and ibuprofen and headache strips.
Help!

I have a job interview on Tuesday. Its at the local quilting and sewing store. The owner is looking for a couple of part time people. She sounds flexible with my only wanting to work when the kids are in school. Of course Dd2 woke up this morning not feeling well. I'm pretty sure she has a cold, but she has a headache and her temp when I got up was 100.0, so she's going to be staying home tomorrow. DH is working day shift tomorrow and Tuesday, so if she needs to stay home on Tuesday I'll see if I can move the interview to Wednesday when DH is home.

But naybe remembering wrong?) He got moved from the hospital to a rehab/hospice place on wedensday. I took his wife up to see him on Thursday and Friday, I think her daughter took her up yesterday. Im not sure of they were there with him this morning. When I took his wife on Thursday, I went in with her to say hello/goodbye. He was really out of it, but did say "hi" and knew we were both there. Just by looking at him could tell it wouldnt be long. His skin was very very yellow, and he had wasted away soo much since he went to the hospital 3 weeks ago.
