Peyton dragged some blankets in my room and was laying on them this morning. I was putting away my clothes and stepped over her. She was mad!
"Jeez Mommy! Don't step on my blankets. You have your own blankets you can step on if you want, you know 😤"

This morning DS would snort and then say "look mommy, I crack you up." Over and over... I have no idea where he got it from.

I have a jacket that I wear at work that the zipper broke. But it's my favorite one, so I used a paperclip to keep using it. Eliza found a paperclip on the ground and asked if it was my zipper lol

Ds is now saying "ok Guys. listen up guys." Before telling us stories....it's really funny. Clearly that's what they say at daycare. And he said dammit again yesterday. I'm never going to live that one down. At least it's not Ass-y butt @mama2worm / microworm that makes me laugh every time I think about it.

I asked him what he is supposed to do after he is excused and he said "pick a book and sit in the carpet!" They've definitely got our kids trained well!

Bub was waiting for FIL to use the bathroom before they could go outside to play. He got a little impatient and he knocked on the door and said "grandpa? You doing ok?"

Sat beside DS to cosy in and watch tv. Put my arm around him and he flinched and stared at me disgusted. He pointed to my armpit and said "no mummy, get that away from me". Now my underarms are not hairy at all - but I'm dark and would say it's like 5 o clock shadow right now. I said "it's just little hair coming in. Daddy has lots of hair".
DS said "well I don't want to see it. Get it away from my head".
Give me a break child! I'm lucky if I get a shower these days never mind time to defuzz! He should be grateful he didn't catch a glimpse of my bikini line and legs.

I can't remember if I already posted this or just thought of posting: DS's new thing is to pretend to be a puppy and try to lick my face. He is so squirmy and puppy like it cracks me up. DD has now taken to calling him pup pup and teaching him to "sit" for goldfish frackers.
We were at H's grandparents house last week and when I told DD to go brush her teeth she comes back in tears saying "I can't brush my teeth in there, it smells bad (someone must have pooped before she went in). If it smells bad, you can't breathe. If you can't breathe, you can't yawn. If you can't yawn, you can't sleep. I guess I can't go to bed." Solid logic for a 3 yo.

DS has been singing songs that just narrate what he is doing.
Yesterday, we were holding hands, walking to his swingset and he sang, " we have 2 people, we have 2 people, we have 2 people, we don't have 3." "2 people are swinging, 2 people are swinging, Dada is watching us, 2 people swing."
They're always so random. And kinda catchy.

DD1 has been walking around for weeks singing "creature da funk". I could not figure out what she was saying until just now when I let her watch an episode of Octonauts and they have a "creature report" every episode. Apparently DH let her watch it a couple weeks ago.

D'S keeps saying "allbody" instead of "everybody" and it cracks me up. He refuses to say "everybody."
"Mama, allbody be so happy at the beats (beach)."

My dad does this obnoxious thing where any time DS1 hurts himself he says "it's a good thing boys are tough!" Even though I totally remember him saying tyo me as a child "it's a good thing you're tough," apparently he has become more chauvinistic in his old age.
Anyway, today after he said it he decided to elaborate and he told DS "you're tough and I'm tough and your dad is tough." And I was sitting there thinking "WTAF dad" and just when I was about to say something DS said "and my mom is though! And Nana is tough!"

@becole I thought of your DS yesterday when Bub was playing with my dad and announced that he is Spiderman and my dad is the bad guy called "Spider Grabber" LOL he clearly has never actually seen a Spiderman movie. It's so odd to me how they pick up on these characters without really seeing them.

DD grabbed it and said "look Mommy a Barbie!!!" She was so happy to have a Barbie, even though it clearly isn't Barbie. How does she know about Barbie already??

No buddy, he's really Tony Stark. "Tiny Star?" Nope. Tony Stark. He also says iron " I-Ron". Funny since I say it "I- yern".

At church, I was in the back with ds because he was acting the fool. He asked me who the man in a picture was. It was Archbishop J. Peter Sartain. I told him it with the Archbishop. He tried but couldn't say Archbishop, so I said his name was Peter. Ds said, "Hi, Peeper!"
