Anyone else still have student loans through Navient? Trying to untangle the verbage on their website to understand if my payments are suspended or not.

jennyinheaven it sounds like they are putting them all on hold but then in the next part it says “if you’re having difficulty making payments...” so I actually don’t know. I am down to the last little bit of my loans and am able to still pay but I would call if I were you just to be sure.

If you read the website and according to what has been passed in last bill I think we aren't required to pay with no intrest added until end of summer |

I booked DD’s party at the gymnastics studio. She’s been asking me to have her party there for 6months, since she went to a birthday there. They book out months in advance, so I’ve had her party booked since before shit hit the fan, but obviously at this point we have no idea if it will happen or not. We’ll just wait and see if the stay at home order keeps getting extended.

I think that loans owned by the DOE are suspended by the bill that just passed, but others are dependent on the loaners. But I don't have any current loans to pay off so I'm not sure what qualifies and what doesn't. Perkins and Federal Family Education Loans are also excluded. Your loans should be listed by type and who owns them on the Navient page. But still, calling them to clarify is also good. |

Congress should override the president. Unfortunately, you still need a 2/3 majority to do an override. And the two sides disagree with how to best help the country. Still, more stimulus bills should be coming in the future weeks. And only the president can activate the DPA, which is what we need right now. |

I am truly going insane over here. It feels so incredibly hard especially since I am just here all day by myself with no adults to talk to or see. Yes, I chat and do stuff with Peyton but not the same. I never thought I would miss work so much but I do. I love getting out and having a routine and being around people and joking with your coworkers etc.
I talk to P every day and we have zoomed several times. I introduced him to that and he loves it as it is so much more fun than just texting.
I still am doing my fitness challenge and love it. It is one of the best things for me since it gives me something to look forward to. So fun to work super hard and get exhausted and then take a long, hit shower to relax. At least it breaks up the day and I totally see a difference in my body- getting so much stronger. However, I still hate all of this and don't know how much more I can take. We had a crummy, cold spring last year, an ok summer and then early winter. It is raining so much and my back yard is a muddy mess since I have no grass due to the trench I had dug in the fall. They wonder why people feel the need to get out and this is why. Sorry for the crazy dear diary lol

springbeduk we really like our Samsung Smart tvs. They are pretty simple to use and don't have cameras, and neither of them have Alexa for google assistant on them.

I went from spending 30-40 min chatting with friends at school pick up every day to VERY VERY limited adult talking time. I ran into a friend last week at the school while I was picking up school stuff for the girls, and we chatted outside on the playground for about 20min. |

Sorry for the crazy dear diary lol I completely understand as I’m alone with just kids for company all day everyday and sometimes go weeks without speaking to an adult friend/family in person. It’s soul destroying and incredibly lonely. It’s great you are doing the fitness challenge and having me time working out and then a relaxing shower. Just make the most of the little things. At the moment, I’m shell shocked as DH is home...and not allowed in the office. We haven’t spent this much time in each other’s company since 2013 when we went to Mexico for 2 weeks 😳. |

jennyinheaven DD1’s birthday is April 20th and I already canceled her party that was supposed to be the next weekend. Depending on when this all ends, we might just do it towards the end of the school year as a celebration of this ending. Otherwise, she just doesn’t get a party this year. She’s been such a PITA that I don’t even feel that badly. FFMC maybe?
